Legal
The ground rules for using this website and working with us. We wrote them to be read, and there is no fine print doing quiet work.
Last updated 3 August 2026
These terms govern your use of the Get It Done Tax & Legal Advisory website and apply from the moment you use it. Sending an enquiry, booking a consultation, or engaging us for work brings the rest of these terms into play. If you do not agree with them, the honest advice is not to use the site.
Engagements, meaning actual casework, are also governed by an engagement letter agreed between us. Where that letter and these terms differ, the letter wins.
Get It Done is a tax and legal advisory firm. We handle income tax notices, GST compliance, assessments and appeals, and legal disputes for business owners and individuals across India. The website exists to explain that work and to give you a direct channel to start a conversation about your matter.
We read what you send, tell you plainly where you stand, and set out the next step before any fee is discussed.
Articles, guides, and answers published on this site are general information, written to be accurate at the time of publication. They are not professional advice for your specific facts, and tax and legal positions change, sometimes retrospectively.
A professional relationship between you and us begins only when we confirm an engagement in writing. Until then, do not act or refrain from acting on the basis of anything on this site without advice on your own situation. Deadlines in tax matters are unforgiving; if you have received a notice, get specific advice quickly, whether from us or from anyone else competent.
Good outcomes depend on both sides. When you work with us, we ask that you:
Paid work begins only after we have agreed scope and fees in writing. What we quote is what you pay, unless the scope itself changes, and any scope change is agreed with you before it changes the bill.
Government fees, court fees, and statutory charges are yours and are passed through at cost. Where taxes apply to our fees, they are stated separately.
Assessments, appeals, and disputes are decided by tax officers, tribunals, and courts, not by us. We do not guarantee outcomes, and you should treat anyone in this profession who does with suspicion.
What we do commit to: competent work, filed on time, argued properly, with honest reporting of where your matter stands at every stage, including when the news is bad.
You agree not to:
We may block access that breaches these rules, without notice.
The text, articles, design, and branding on this site belong to Get It Done Tax & Legal Advisory. You may read, link to, and quote it with attribution; you may not republish it wholesale or pass it off as your own.
Your documents remain yours. Sending them to us grants us only the right to use them for your matter.
The website is provided as is. To the extent permitted by Indian law, we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on the site’s general content, from interruptions to the site’s availability, or from third-party services linked from it.
Liability for engaged professional work is governed by your engagement letter. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The site links out to third parties: government portals, WhatsApp, social networks, and an embedded Google Maps view on the contact page. Those services operate under their own terms and policies, which apply the moment you leave our site or interact with the embed. We choose them carefully but do not control them.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes arising from the use of this website are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
We may revise these terms as the law or our services change; the date at the top of this page tells you when we last did. Questions about these terms go to yogesh@getitdoneat1000.com. A person reads them and replies.
